Doctors' waiting rooms

So now that I've had more time to think about this blog thing, i've changed my mind about it's purpose. A daily rambling is far more interesting since I've lost the interest that I had before on beauty stuff (did I just lose the girl in me?).

So I went to see the doctor today (and god I hate doctors... Don't get me wrong, I have many doctor/dentist/pharmacist friends but being friends and consulting one us a totally different deal...) and I just hate it how if you're a minute late, the recep glares at you and tells you to not be late again, but then they make you wait an hour just to hear the doctor say "okay! Everything is normal." No, not everything is normal! Otherwise I wouldn't even be here! Tell me I have something minor at least!!! I didn't freaken wait an hour fir you to tell me I have nothing. (Sorry if there are any typos. Blogging with an iPhone is not the most convenient...)

It's not that i want to be sick of anything but it feels like I just wasted two hours of my life...

By the way, if you're in the waiting room, don't even touch the mags. You don't know where the previous readers' hands have been...

Nail Polish Random

I've been really into nail polish recently ( at least for a year now ) and there are some polishes that I always go back to because they are just the kind of colours that can be worn anytime of the year for any occasion and with any outfit .

Essie
I will have to say that I initially thought that I would get amazing results from Essie but although the polishes themselves are not too bad , i really really hate their brushes !!!! They're small and they don't really spread so the three-stroke rule really doesn't work .
One of my fav essie colour is St Lucia Lilac . It's a creamy cool lilac colour but it's a bitch to apply it on ( at least 4 coats to make it look even . damn you stupid brush )

L'Oreal
I always go back to l'Oreal's Pearly Whites (140) because
1) You can build up the colour (just like eyeshadow , yay ! )
2) It's a super gorgeous pearl
3) The brush is AMAZING . like AMAZING
Most of my polishes are l'Oreals because I just love their brushes . The quality is okay and even with a top coat , it doesn't last as long as I want it to ( maybe 2-3 days with no chip ) .

For the rest , I think i'll do another post or something , i'm lazy haha . sorry !

I've recently visited a MAC store and I didn't splurge like I usually do ( and trust me , when I say splurge , it's really splurge like a spoiled brat . I'm ashamed of myself saying it ) , these are the few things that I got

Lipstick : Politely pink ( loooove it ) & Hot Gossip
Eyeshadows : Quad x 4 ( really nice bronzy colours ) and x 2 ( beautiful purples )
Paintpot : Bare Study & Soft Ochre
Blush : Prim and Proper ( Give Me Liberty of London Collection )

That's all .
I think I'm going to return the blush though because it's way too dark for my skin tone (I'm a Warm Ivory in Bobbi Brown)
I wanted to get a lipstick from the Viva Glam collection but they weren't what I thought they would be ... Pretty sad about it .
